My trip to London earlier this week, consisted of another trip to the V&A and Somerset House.I visited the Hollywood Glamour exhibition that is currently on at the V&A, which was really really good, I do recommend going (it's on until the 27th January next year). The exhibition explores the role of costume design in cinema and there were so many costumes on display including, the Batman costume, Spiderman, Darth Vader, Kate Winslet's costume from Titanic, along with Dorothy from the Wizard Of Oz. The original ruby slippers from the movie were showcased in the exhibition when i visited, however they are returning to their usual home again this weekend.
The Tim Walker exhibition at Somerset House was also good to see as well, this is also on until 27th January next year. I have a lack of photos of both exhibitions as photography was not allowed but the two i have found from other websites above were probably my two favourite pieces from the Somerset House exhibition. The exhibition showcased Tim Walker's photography as well as the props that were used in those photos. I really like Tim Walker's work, his photography is quite fun and yet still beautiful.
